As a Christian community, we come together to learn and grow into our life of faith. So education and formation as a Christian does not end - ever!
During the 9:30 am worship service we have a nursery available for up to four years of age. The nursery is staffed by a paid attendant to provide consistency, as well as, an adult volunteer. Both have been trained in Safe Church practices and are there to provide a safe and fun atmosphere for our youngest members.
Preschool - 5th Grade
On Sunday mornings, September through mid-June, we offer Sunday school utilizing the Episcopal curriculum, Weaving God's Promises. Weaving God's Promises is a story-based curriculum divided into a three-year sequencw: Weaving our Faith, Weaving Together the Family of God, Weaving God's Beloved Community. The goal is to "teach the way of Christ, not only in the church, but also in the world." We also incorporate outreach projects and group days into the schedule so that the children get to know one another - working and playing together.
We have dedicated volunteers who love working with our children and have been trained in Safe Church practices.
6th - 8th Grade
For our young people, we are using the Episcopal curriculum, Weaving God's Promises. For teens, we also use the Re:form. Youth encounter short films that introduce tough theological questions, engage the material and respond by creating cool stuff! Our youth also participate in group days as mentors with the younger children and they participate in worship.
